The Air I want to Breathe

Am I lost? I don’t feel like I belong here I don’t think my lungs like the air I breathe I’ve seen those dreams Of snowflakes and maples leaves I think that’s where I belong I think that’s the air I want to breathe I’ve never accepted what my friends like Maybe they’re waiting for me among that weekend parties And I think that’s where I belong I think that’s the air I want to breathe I don’t like when he doesn’t esteem me Maybe he knows that I’ve come from those Subway lives That’s why I think that’s where I belong I think that’s the air I want to breathe I see their pictures of having what I want I read their stories and assume me with them I think that’s where I belong I think that’s the air I want to breathe But will they accept me? 19:16 09 Feb. 17 ©SmitFairytale

Country Song

I remember you when I sit under maple trees for long I smile when I hear our country song We used to write our music among these bushes And we missed those promises made within hushes Still are those words in this breeze, Linger around my lips like our first kiss I don’t know what changed us so much I thought we’ll make it till the end but maybe it was our hunch But blame isn’t on you though ‘Cause you’re mourning the same poem, I know I know that you love me the same I know that you miss me when you’re drown in the fame But this time has changed all the tunes It’s easier to grasp on a memory that fumes Rather than wait along those grey highways And ask in the gust whether you’re on your way My heart beat faster when I memorize your eyes I hope you sing these words and come back where your heart lies ‘Cause I still remember you when I sit under maple trees for long And I still smile when I hear our country song 21:07

That’s all I preach

Image
I’ve got my coffee and my luck I’ve got everything and nothing suck I’m happy and I’m about to reach My goal and that’s all I preach Though it’s still dark when I’m writing this But I’m sure that those stars are shining in cold breeze I’ll read this poem again tomorrow When the sun rises again and fades the sorrow Now I’m counting those days When I’ll dance like bumblebee around hays Because I’m happy and I’m about to reach My goal and that’s all I preach Maybe I was bound to dream every hour Maybe I was bound to be far I know I’ll miss my summer ice creams And they still ask me about my dreams Those dreams which I lived for Are about to be fulfilled now, everyone’s sure And so I’m happy ‘cause I’m about to reach My goal and that’s all I preach 21:03 05 Feb. 17   ©SmitFairytale

The Photograph

They say that the time never stops But didn’t they tell you that I can even stop drops? It’s me, the photograph, who’ll hold you Till the time it gets better, even if the time flew People say that I’m just a copy, just an ‘it’ But I’m capable of holding moments, making everything lit I’ll make you remember those spring birds I’ll make you cherish flowers of what you’ve heard I’ll make you cry by those gestures so small I’ll make you wonder by those abstracts you call And I’ll make you feel a thing called love And a thing called memory And a thing called home Cause it’s me, the photograph, who’ll hold you Till the time it gets better, even if the time flew 18 Jan. 17 21:57 ©SmitFairytale

Butterflies and fireflies

You’ll watch this place when you pass by A place of butterflies and fireflies Dancing with the pink bleeding hearts You’ll realize that life’s short, it’s an art Never hide what you are, what you want If you won’t let out your words, they’ll haunt There are good times, there are bad times Remember when you lose hope, listen to these hymns When you walk down the lane When you’ll miss everyone without shame You’ll watch this place when you pass by A place of butterflies and fireflies When you feel that everything’s over You’ll meet someone, your lover She’ll mess up with the words But will protect you from all the swords You’ll keep mourning about your old friends By this, maybe you’ll lose your new friends I’m not joking, you will lose them And there’s only one place where you’ll get them You’ll watch this place when you pass by A place of butterflies and fireflies 14 Jan. 2017 21:19 ©SmitFairytale

Sleep Within Hays

All night, you kept lurking on the pathways It isn’t good, you know, to sleep within hays You cried that you’re alone You said you need someone to feel home But let me tell you, it’s an utter complication It’s taking you away, it’s an obligation Don’t feel so heavy dear Cause it’s not always you Believe me, you’re not the only to run Change yourself, have some fun People come, people go You have to understand, it’s a flow Your girl left you last weekend I expect you to move on until tonight’s end You may know how a thorn hurts But you don’t know how a rose smells When the sun shines And the night ends Your life’s kind of small You have to cherish it all These words might hurt you But you’re weak, you’re pathetic You just need to suck it up and head on And smile at everyone cause they’re a clown Its better you take a song And dance like a drunk But all night, you keep lurking on the pathways It isn’t good, you know, to sleep within
